Election Day!

Library News: The library will be closed after school today. Please plan accordingly.
Today's Fun Fact: The 19th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits anyone from being denied the right to vote based on gender. Although Rochester's own Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton began to champion women's right to vote in the 1870s, the 19th Amendment was not ratified until 1920.

Reading Fri-I mean, Monday
Happy Monday!
Library News: The library is closed tomorrow after school due to a faculty meeting. Please plan ahead!
What I'm Reading: I'm almost done with This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Oppel. This Dark Endeavor is the story of a teen Victor Frankenstein. Victor's twin brother, Konrad, has a disease which is slowly killing him. Victor feels the only way to cure his brother is to turn to alchemy, but Victor knows his father will not approve.
This book is suspenseful and has romantic tension, as Victor and Konrad are in love with the same girl. If you are looking for a book that you have to keep reading to find out what happens, I recommend This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Oppel.
